Obituary for parishioner, Pat Wibbels
He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 64, Knights of Columbus St. Joseph Council #12354 and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the JOY Club. Pat was retired from Ted McCain Company and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who cherished his faith, family and friends. Pat enjoyed working with his hands, camping, traveling, gardening, wine making and spending quality time with those that he loved.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years the former Barbara Ellen Bratcher; daughters, Mary Ellen Morris (Anthony), Cheryl Ann Roeder (Scott); sons, Patrick Henry Wibbels, Jr., Andrew Joseph Wibbels (Kim); sisters, Doris Eiden (Sonny), Elaine Hardman (Kenny); brother, Joseph Wibbels (Monica); grandchildren, Jesse (Marla), Emily, Kaitlin, Cody, Dustin, Nathan, Ryan, Hannah, Grace, Noah; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Karson, Hunter and Elijah.
His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington. Interment Highland Memory Gardens Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Legacy Fund or Catholic Charities of Louisville.
