Passing of Mt. Washington resident, Martha McGaw
Martha was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Louisville. Martha and her husband, Roy, were residents of Mt. Washington, I had taken Holy Communion to Mrs. McGaw for the last several months. Please pray for Martha's eternal rest and joy in the Kingdom, and peace and comfort for her family and friends. Deacon Gerry
Martha Sarah McGaw, 75, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 2, 2016.Martha was born in Loretto, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Adelaide Hagan.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Hagan; and infant son, John Anthony. Survivors include her husband, Roy G. McGaw; sons, Mark, Bobby, and David; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alan, Brit, Meghan, and Sarah; siblings, Joe Guy Hagan, Jr. (Merwyn), Madelyn Kenney, Harry Hagan (Katsy), Madonna Karrer (Raymond), Betty Bowman, Jim Hagan (Linda), John Hagan (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Ruth Hagan; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martha Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens - Mt. Washington.
