Obituary for parishioner Dennis Hamilton
Carl Dennis Hamilton, 58, of Mt. Washington, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, developer of Angels Crossing Subdivision, a member of UAW 862, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and golfer, enjoyed walking his dog, and spending time with his family and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George Donnie Hamilton; and a brother, Donald Hamilton.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 26 years, Beverly Thompson Hamilton; one daughter, Nicki Vormbrock (Bobby); his mother, Joyce Hamilton; two brothers, Joe (Geralyn) and Alan (Stephanie) Hamilton; one sister, Fran Taylor (Ty); along with two beloved grandchildren.
Rite of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Xavier Catholic Church with burial to follow in Kings Church Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with Deacon Gerry Mattingly leadinga vigil service at 3 p.m. on Monday. The family requests memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be sent to the University of Kentucky Hospital Transplant Program.
May Dennis have eternal rest and joy in the Kingdom, and peace and comfort for his family and friends.
